Situated hotel is also a great stepping-off point to amble around Andorra la Vella on foot. It is just a five-minute walk down the hill to the beginning of Avinguda Meritxell, this country's main shopping street. This busy thoroughfare is the center of Andorra's duty-free markets and is stacked with stores of all shapes and sizes, from perfume, cosmetics, electronics, designer wear, and tobacco. One could spend hours wandering through the numerous department stores a la Pyrenees and specialty boutiques.

Not far from the main shopping area, there are other attractions of significance. The very famous Caldea-Inúu center of thermal spas is just about a 10-15 minute pleasant walk from the hotel. For a little touch of history, there is the Barri Antic or old town, which is around a 15-minute walk from here. Here one can walk through lovely stone streets and view Casa de la Vall, that translates to – House of the Valley, which is Andorra’s historical parliamentary house. A green oasis in the middle of the hustle bustle so apt for a restful shopping day.

There are many eateries and watering holes around here serving all tastes and pockets from fast tapas to upmarket dining. There are a number of supermarkets and pharmacies a stone’s throw away for daily needs. While going down to the centre is easy, one should note the return trip to the hotel includes a short but steep grade hill, but it is a small price to pay with the peaceful location of the hotel.
