Getting There

As Andorra has no international airport of its own, one has to find one’s way into it through the roads from either France or Spain. The places through Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) in Spain or Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) in France are more frequent ones. From both of these airports, several companies such as Andbus, Directbus run direct luxurious coach services to Andorra la Vella central bus station. This is the most popular and convenient mode of getting there, with a beautiful journey over the Pyrenees taking about 3 to 3.5 hours.

The Hotel President is about a 10- to 15-minute walk from Andorra la Vella bus station (Estació Nacional d'Autobusos). However, recommend taking a short taxi ride as some of this walk is up a hill. It is inexpensive and generally a good option if you are, for example, laden with luggage. Taxis are available right at the bus station exit.

For motorists covering the distance to Andorra, there is that fantastic mountainous view. The GPS will easily lead you to the hotel. A critical advantage of Hotel President is on-site private parking – a huge secure facility that’s extremely difficult to have in the city center. Therefore, it is highly recommended to reserve a parking space at the hotel in advance during either of the busy ski seasons or summer holidays. Just be sure you get some site with an available spot.
